Dave Chapman






Dave began coaching volleyball in 1996 at the University of Toledo as an assistant coach with the
women's team. From there he moved into high school and USAV by coaching the Girls JV and Boys
Varsity teams at Perrysburg High School and various age groups for Glass City Junior Olympic
Volleyball Club. After relocating to Columbus, Dave continued coaching club volleyball for Cap City
Volleyball Club at the U16 and U17 age levels. He has been IMPACT and ASEP certified.

Still an active player, Dave began playing in high school and was a State Runner-Up in 1989. He
continued at the collegiate level for the Ohio State University Men's Volleyball Club where he was a
member of the team that won both Big Ten and MIVA championships in 1993. After graduation from
OSU, Dave became the director for the Sixbucks Men's Volleyball Team which won adult open
championships from 1998 - 2001, 2003, and 2004. On the beach circuit Dave competed in the Midwest
Professional Volleyball Association for 5 years and in the AVP qualifier tournaments in 2001 and 2006.
