Danielle Meyer

Danielle is currently finishing her final season with the Buckeyes as a 4 year starter and
2-time AVCA All-American at Ohio State.  Danielle has won 2 USA Volleyball Junior
National Championships with Team Z (2002- 16 Open & 2003- 17 Open) and finished 3rd
in 2001 in 15 Open.  Meyer was named to the All-Tournament Team at the USA Volleyball
Junior National Championships in 2001 and 2003.  In 2002 she was named Most Valuable Player at the
JNC’s.  Danielle was also named a Prep Volleyball All-American in 2002 and 2003 and was also named to
the Volleyball Magazine “Fab 50” list.  Meyer was a member of the USA Volleyball Youth National Team
that competed in the 2003 World Championships in Poland.  For her career at Ohio State Danielle
ranks 11th in points with 1,605.5 ... fourth in points per game at 4.65 ... ninth in kills with 1,334 ... fourth
in kills per game at 3.87 ... eighth in hitting percentage at .294 ... tied for 11th in solo blocks with 42 ...
eighth in assist blocks with 261 ... eighth in total blocks with 341 (42-299) ... fifth in blocks per game at .
99.
