Anthony Glass
Anthony Glass, M.Ed., CSCS, HFI, SCCC, oversees all aspects of the Buckeyes' strength-training
program. Glass came to Ohio State after serving as the Director of Strength & Conditioning for
Olympic Sports at the University of Georgia. Prior to Georgia, he was Assistant Strength and
Conditioning Coach for Boston College during the 1995-1996 season. In 1990, Glass served as the
Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Lenoir- Ryne College (Hickory, NC).
Glass holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise
Science from Appalachian State University (ASU) and a Masters of Science Education degree in
Physical Education, with areas of interest in Coaching and Sport Biomechanics, from Northern Illinois
University (NIU). While at NIU, he was a Weight Training Instructor for the Department of Physical
Education, 1993-1995. With his learned skills in weight training, Glass published a book, Weight
Training: A step-by-step guide to the development of a safe and sound program.
